As an educator, my Teaching Garden story didn't start until I was a parent. While spearheading the transformation of an old desolate courtyard at my children's elementary school into a Children's Garden & Outdoor Classroom I found my entire philosophy of education transformed.

I now inspire teachers and parents to create outdoor classrooms, backyard teaching gardens, and nature-based curricula on a shoestring budget.
